Sea port

Attach the seaside in downtown San Diego, with a backdrop of serene sailboats, lush greenery and beautiful blue waters, you will find the sensational sea port. Built on the discharge above the Punta of Los Muertos (point of the Dead), where the Spanish shipping of 1782 buried their dead scurbut, Seaport Village 1980, almost 35 years ago. Seaport Village is a village the size of a pint filled with character on 14 acres in sea with paved trails, picturesque ponds, fountains, a colorful landscaping and a quarter of a walk along the Bay of San Diego.

I absolutely fell in love with the charming and picturesque sensation of SeaFort Village. It was like walking in a cinema set, everything is so immaculate, picturesque, then someone cut the Mom and Baby Canetons to cross the winding path in front of me. The week I visited, there was the Busker Festival, all kinds of artists, some with beautiful birds, others playing music, it was certainly a treat for the senses. With more than 50 various stores, 17 unique restaurants and outdoor entertainment and festivals all year round, there is something to meet everyone’s desires.

Seaport Village LighthouseWalk on the paths, looking for a place to have a coffee, I came across a small picturesque chalet with its hindered door. I saw books! As I approached, I saw the panel – upstart Crow Coffeehouse & Bookstore – No need to ask for more when you have coffee and books at hand. I traveled his selection of books and a plethora of unique gifts and interesting goods, and after being caught up in the store, I remembered what I wanted, a coffee. As he was at lunch time, I decided to take a Panini sandwich with my coffee. If you are looking for an affordable and fast lunch, it’s delicious, it’s your place.

A charming lighthouse attracted me with the aroma of fresh bakery products, I could not resist. The Little Lighthouse, rightly looking at the Bay, was Seaport Cookie Co. dedicated to fresh and delicious cookies of various flavors. The monster of cookies in me all wanted but decided two, classic chocolate chips and a coconut pip.

With a full belly, I decided to travel some of the distinctive stores. You can’t help but be trained in many of them, some so colorful, others sparkled and some inspired by the sea, I just had to integrate myself. Like Captain’s Cove, full of classic and trendy goods on the theme of jewelry with interior decoration. Another interesting store is Seaport Village Shell Co. with everything that is creatively made from various shells, more jewelry and interior decoration for the house of beach lovers.
