While I was falling Romeo Street and I saw the panel for As You Like It Motel, I thought, how it remains to stay in a housing on the theme of Shakespeare in Stratford! And leaving the car to go to recording, I was encountered by the sweet sounds of the song of birds in the trees, a snacking rabbit on the grass and a funny feeling that it was not your average motel.

It could not be more appropriate to have accommodation in Stratford, which houses the Stratford Shakespearean Festival – now known as Stratford Festival, located on Romeo Street, and be on the theme of Shakespeare. And with the name, each of the 18 rooms is named after the characters of Shakespeare, like Rosalind and Orlando, Othello and of course Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare’s theme really helps you put in the mood of the Stratford festival.

Location
If you are looking for an ideal place to stay in Stratford, which gives proximity to the city center but also the serenity of a seaside resort outside the city, then you like it, Motel is what you are looking for. Outdoor oasis
Everyone who knows me know that I want the outdoors! I am looking for it in cities through their city parks and traveling on incredible hiking trails. So I was delighted during my stay at Stratford’s as you like it motel because he offered an outdoor oasis.
The whole property is surrounded by a ring of trees, full of singing birds, and even rabbits that break. It is so isolated that from the upper end of Romeo Street, you can almost miss it. There is a nice Gazebo, you can walk in the park -shaped park, and your back is the perfect outdoor getaway. A large welcoming swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs and a wall of trees, you will have the impression of being a world far from the city.

Social flair of a B&B
Do you want the intimacy that a motel offers but a place to socialize and think about the performance of the festival last night? As you like, Motel combines both! The Motel offers private rooms with indoor bathrooms, but with the social touch of a B&B, at breakfast time. While people accumulate in the breakfast room in the morning and start to discuss what they saw last night – most cannot help ring.

My stay
I never judge a book by its cover, nor a place to stay with the simple motel. But I must admit that I was beyond tickled when I was encountered by heat and immobility on arrival. Enveloped by trees and seduced by a small soft rabbit that seemed to call the place at home.
I had the King Lear room. And as soon as I opened this door, the soft smell with the smell of fresh sheets welcomed me. There is nothing better than this smell of fresh detergent for me. He evokes words as clean, fresh and house.
The room was perfect. No frills but full of comfort and each equipment you need to come back after a day of exploration. A warm and comfortable bed, full of closure throughout my head in the pillows. A lounge area to relax and watch TV. An office to write. Somewhere to hang my dress for the room. And a shiny and sparkling bathroom.
I also loved that they provide toiletries. And not just any kind. They offer really friendly toiletries. These are biodegradable soap bars based on vegetables and a large touch for travelers concerned with the environment.
And any trip to Stratford is not complete without chocolate. So, I was delighted to have a fridge in the room to keep my precious chocolate fresh that I enjoyed with the chocolate path.

And speaking of food! I always say choosing accommodation that includes breakfast. And as you like, Motel offers a free continental breakfast. But it is not your standard Fade continental. They serve as delicious fresh coffee and tea, as well as toast, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. And the best part – delicious homemade fresh muffins. One morning, I devoured a Blueberry Banana and the next a strawberry-rhubarb. I loved these muffins! If I had to add a 6th reason why you will love it as you like motel, it would be easily these muffins!
I loved starting my mornings directly in this breakfast room. With my hot coffee, my fresh muffin, soothing jazz music and a bright window seat with violets that line the threshold, I felt cool and ready to explore.
It is not surprising that many have come back, again and again, for over 20 years in As You Like It Motel. This second generation family business offers everything you need in an ideal place to stay and at affordable prices.
